What do we do during the appointment?

- Gums: we look at whether the gums bleed and how healthy they are.
- Cleaning and polishing: where needed, we clean your teeth within the available time.
You also receive practical tips for daily care. Is a more extensive examination or treatment necessary? Then we discuss it with you and, if needed, schedule a follow-up appointment.

Duration and costs
Every appointment begins with a short consultation. This is always included and forms the minimum fee. If cleaning is necessary, it is charged per 5 minutes according to the fixed NZa rates. The appointment lasts on average about 20 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes. The total cost for check-up and cleaning averages around €95. Whether and how much you are reimbursed depends on your supplementary dental insurance. Feel free to check this with your insurer.
